Mr. Onesmo Simon Nyinondi, BA. Ed.,  MA. Linguistics

Mr. Onesmo Simon Nyinondi, who is currently a PhD student at the University of Dar es Salaam, is an Assistant Lecturer of Communication Skills and English Language, in the Department of Language Studies, at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania.  He received his MA in Linguistics at the University of Dare es Salaam. Mr. Nyinondi has thirteen years of teaching experience, accumulated after teaching in secondary schools and at Sokoine University of Agriculture. In addition to teaching, Mr Nyinondi is regularly involved in English forums and research activities that contribute to the improvement of English language instruction in Tanzania. With regard to research interest, Mr. Nyinondi   is interested in English language teaching, Discourse analysis, Bi/multingualism, Academic writing, English as a Second/Foreign Language (ESL/EFL), Language learning and technology and English for specific purposes. He is a member of various professional bodies, including Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Tanzania English Language Teachers’ Association (TELTA), and International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL).
