It has also been receiving International Students under the International students Exchange Programme. While studying our undergraduate students&nbsp; develop valuable skills such as managing projects, working in a team and thinking critically which make them valuable to employers.&nbsp; They get opportunity to use available well experienced academic staffs for academic mentoring services&nbsp; and career development advice. The Department provides students with academic support through allocation academic supervisors and Special Project Supervisors.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Academic Advisor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After a student has enrolled as an undergraduate student he\/she get introduced to one academic advisor. The role of this academic advisor to guide you mostly in academic matters such as selection of elective courses, securing Field Practical Training, specialization\/career development through different ways;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A drop in class ( class session short break)<\/li>\n<li>a booked appointment<\/li>\n<li>via academic staff email provided to you\/telephone ( although it is advised to meet your supervisor physically if possible)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Special Project Supervisor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When our students are in third year of your their study, they normally been given a Special Project Supervisor who take you through Special Project Proposal preparation and Special Project report writing. The roles of the SP Supervisor to guide you in creating the topic, objectives\/research questions of&nbsp; SP proposal and technical advice on data collection in the field ( this should be done in the first semester of the third year) and technical advice on data collection in the field, analysis and SP writing ( this should be done in the second semester of&nbsp; the third year).
