Ms.Anna Gerald Monela

Professional Biography

Ms. Anna G. Monela is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Development and Strategic Studies at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro. She received her B.A in Rural Development and MA in Rural Development at Sokoine University of Agriculture. She is an academician with local and international experiences. Her special interest is based on Rural Development, Conflict Management, Food security, Agriculture, Poverty analysis and Gender. Her main focus is to utilize and share her knowledge, skills and experiences gained from studies, research and outreach for the development of society. Apart from that Ms. Anna has attended various trainings and workshops concerning her career, her background has enabled her to address development issues with a strong emphasis on Society involvement in rural development issues, gender equality, agriculture and optimization of resources for long term growth. These are some of the few. In her spare time Anna enjoys travelling, increasing knowledge through reading books and chilling with Family members
