Rehema E Mollel

Professional biography

Rehema Elphas Mollel is a Tutorial Assistant in the Department of Development and Strategic Studies at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), specializing in Gender and Development Studies. In her current role, she is dedicated to supporting research and contributing to discussions on gender equity and inclusive development. She is committed to empowering students to engage critically with gender issues while exploring solutions to gender-based challenges in society.

 

Rehema holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rural Development from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), where she developed a strong foundation in understanding the intersections of gender, development, and social justice. Her academic journey has shaped her passion for advancing equitable development that addresses the diverse needs of communities.

 

Her research interests include gender mainstreaming in policy and development, gender and climate change adaptation, community development, and strategies for preventing and responding to gender-based violence. Through her work, Rehema aims to contribute to creating more inclusive and sustainable development practices, particularly in the context of gender equity.
